About
I am a Cardiologist specialized in heart rhythm disorders. My clinical practice focuses on cardiovascular prevention as well as the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias through pharmacological therapy and catheter ablation.

I obtained my Medical Degree (MD) from the University of Bologna in 2014, graduating with highest honors. During my studies, I gained international experience through the Erasmus Program at the University of Granada (Spain) and two fellowships in Moscow (Russia, 2012) and Saltillo (Mexico, 2014).
In 2019, I completed my specialization in Cardiology at the University of Florence with highest honors, following a fellowship in Cardiac Magnetic Resonance at the Policlinico San Donato in Milan (Director: Dr. M. Lombardi). I subsequently served as a Cardiologist with interventional and cardiac magnetic resonance responsibilities at the Policlinico San Donato (Director: Prof. C. Pappone).
Since 2021, I have been working as a Cardiologist-Electrophysiologist at Santa Maria Nuova Hospital in Florence, and since the same year as a Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at Villa Donatello Clinic (Florence). In parallel with my clinical work, I pursued a PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Florence, which I successfully completed in 2025.
I am an active member of the Italian Society of Cardiology (SIC) and the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), as well as the Italian and European Arrhythmology scientific societies (AIAC and EHRA). I am the author or co-author of more than 30 international scientific publications in leading journals including JACC Imaging, European Heart Journal, and Circulation: Arrhythmias.
During my career, I have completed professional fellowships in leading European and American cardiology centers, including the Arrhythmology Department at Bordeaux University Hospital (France, 2022), the Cardiocentro of Canton Ticino (Switzerland, 2025), and the Cleveland Clinic (USA, 2025)
Among the awards I have received are the Attilio Maseri Prize for best scientific communication on innovative aspects of clinical practice at the ANMCO 2024 Congress, and the 8th Gambaccini Prize awarded by the Santa Maria Nuova Foundation.
I hold C1 certifications in both English and Spanish.
