I am a Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist based in Florence - Italy, with a focus on cardiac arrhythmias, in particular atrial fibrillation, and cardiovascular prevention. I conduct consultations in fluent English and Spanish, and I have extensive experience with international patients and expats seeking cardiac care in Florence.

My training spans some of the most respected cardiology centres in Europe and the United States. After completing my Medical Degree with highest honours at the University of Bologna and my specialisation in Cardiology at the University of Florence, I trained in Cardiac MRI at the Policlinico San Donato in Milan and worked as an interventional electrophysiologist at the same institution under Prof. C. Pappone, one of the world's leading authorities in cardiac electrophysiology. in 2025 I completed a PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Florence.

During my career, I have completed fellowships at Cleveland Clinic (Ohio, USA) Cardiocentro Ticino (Switzerland), and Bordeaux University Hospital (France).

I currently serve as a Cardiologist-Electrophysiologist at Santa Maria Nuova Hospital in Florence and as Consultant at Villa Donatello Clinic. My office practice nearby the city center is open to patients without referral, including those visiting or relocating to Florence.

My research focuses on arrhythmias and has been published in international journals including JACC Imaging, European Heart Journal, and Circulation: Arrhythmias — over 30 papers in total. During my training I have received several prizes as the Attilio Maseri Prize at the ANMCO 2024 Congress and the Gambaccini Prize awarded by the Santa Maria Nuova Foundation.
